One of XJTLU’s innovative features is its open-campus—our university grounds are open to all, not hidden behind gates and high walls. Walking through campus, you can see beautiful architectural design with modern buildings designed to be efficient, attractive and environmentally friendly. Amongst these buildings you will discover public art which are intended to be engaging and thought provoking.
Guided by President Youmin Xi’s vision that “The Whole Campus Is a Museum,” the XJTLU Museum launched the XIPU Show platform in 2016. The platform helps students, staff, and visitors gain a deeper understanding of the cultural narratives and educational philosophy embedded throughout the campus. Dedicated markers have been installed at landmark locations across the university, allowing visitors to scan a QR code with WeChat and access detailed background information on the corresponding buildings, landscapes, and cultural features.
